The Eye Of The Beholder

The Eye Of The Beholder

The problem, of course,
is much broader than our personal attachment to the mirror.
We perceive ourselves and our friends in the light of public opinion.
Over the time, we havean increasing number of features incommon with our dogs and our selected partners.
Children are becoming alike thei rparents, sometimes against their will.
The question remains: “Where does our outershell ends, and we begin?”

For the moment ideais conceived 21 of art objects.
Each of these corresponds to a parts of the body, which in the modern world,
people are trying to change through weight loss, surgery,
make-up or any other procedure for the sake of compliance with public or private standards.
All objects are handmade by Ekaterina Sisfontes in Sterling silver and will be presented as part of the composition.
